Discfilter Optimization

As the Discfilter process becomes more popular, Kruger Inc. has recognized the need for an on-site service that can help optimize treatment performance, keep operations staff updated and train new operators. This service is intended to help support operating facilities after the traditional "start-up and warranty" period has expired. This service is performed by one of Kruger's Discfilter Process Engineers.

The Discfilter Process Optimization Service covers the following process related parameters:

- Evaluation of the system's integrity
- Blind off the system and inspect for leaks
- Clean the system
- Check instruments calibration
- Verify backwash percentages
- Perform loading rate analysis (if needed)
- Evaluate spray nozzles, replace if needed
- Inspect drive system
- Inspect or change oil in drive system gearbox
- Review/development of extended maintenance schedule
- New operator training, refresher training for plant employees

The service will be available as individual visits or extended agreements. Any replaced parts, oil, and grease supplied by Kruger will be invoiced to the customer. Verbal comments and hands on training will be provided on the jobsite. A written report will be delivered with all evaluations, advice and suggestions following the site visit.
